I’m sure everyone has heard of the holiday destination that is Malta. But do you really know what Malta has to offer? It’s well known for being a truly stunning country with plenty to offer, from history and culture to night life and parties. Malta has something to offer for all ages and all types of people, it is a perfect holiday destination.

Night Life

What better way to escape the stress of day to day life than jetting off to Malta and discovering the exciting night life it has to offer? Malta is a wonderful place to let your hair down and party till the early hours of the morning. Paceville is the place to go, with the town full of bars, clubs and casinos it’s got enough to keep everyone entertained. The two main casinos here are The Casino and Dragonara Palace Casino, both of them let you party in luxury. Of course, it’s best if you get your practice in beforehand so why not do it in a fun way by playing online? If you don’t fancy the casino one night then a great place to dance the night away is Axis Disco, well known for its laser shows!

The Beach

If partying isn’t your thing or you just want to make the most out of the gorgeous weather, then why not lounge on one of the most beautiful beaches Malta has to offer. Two of the most well-known beaches are in the North of Malta called Paradise Bay and Mellieha. Both offer stunning scenery and obviously very good places to top up your tan! If sunbathing gets boring or it’s too hot why not take a dip in the glistening blue sea. Most beaches offer scuba diving for those who like to try out new things and want to find out what’s swimming not too far away. Malta is ranked no 3 in the world as a scuba diving destination, so if you’re going to do it, then at least do it in a place recognised for it!

If you’re one who likes to discover the culture of your holiday destination then Malta has plenty for you to explore. Why not take a trip to the silent city of Mdina, known as Malta’s “medieval jewel”. The ancient walled city is full of narrow winding streets and plenty of museums to check out. You must go and see the 17th century masterpiece that is St. Pauls Cathedral , here you can learn all about Saint Paul’s history and about the building itself. Mdina is definitely a must for those who want to learn more about the history of Malta and want to take home some beautiful pictures.

Go to Gozo

Why not sail from mainland Malta to Gozo? Here you can visit the capital city called Victoria, and learn about the Gozitans who live there. You can also head over to Dwejra Bay which is well known for its stunning rock formations, such as the Azure window – this is a must see. Gozo is well known for being a very good diving destination with it’s beautiful underwater creatures for you to watch go by.
